At Singapore G Pte Ltd, we are proud to say that our Cold Store meets the rigorous standards set by the Singapore Food Agency (SFA), which ensures that food safety and hygiene are prioritized throughout our facility. Constructed to meet the SFA’s strict guidelines, our Cold Store is designed to handle food storage with the utmost care and precision.
The structure of our Cold Store is meticulously built to be condensation, leak, and mold- proof, which is essential for safe food storage. Every surface is light-colored, evenly powder coated, and easy to clean, ensuring a hygienic environment that prevents contamination. The floors are non-slip yet smooth enough to prevent water stagnation, while wall-to-floor junctions feature a 75mm cove for smooth transitions. Wall-to-wall junctions are coved with a 25mm radius, further reducing hard-to-clean areas and enhancing the overall hygiene standard of the facility.
Temperature control is a top priority. Our chillers are maintained at a consistent 0°C to 4°C, while freezers operate at -18°C or lower to ensure optimal storage conditions for perishable goods. This precision helps us uphold food quality and freshness while adhering to SFA regulations. There is also compressor redundancy provisioned to minimize downtime in the unlikely event of hardware failure.
Additionally, we have equipped our Cold Store with an inspection room specifically for SFA officers to carry out inspections of imported meat products. The room is fitted with all necessary tools, including a knife sterilizer, a stainless steel table, and a hand washing basin with a non-hand-operated tap. Liquid soap and disposable paper towels are also provided, ensuring cleanliness and adherence to hygiene protocols.
